"Special" is a word that can be used easily to describe Pixie.  A special part of our family, she will always have a special place in our heart.

A bundle of happiness with four paws and a tail has quietly left us behind....But sweetness stays close in memories shared with the very best friend a person could have.

We love Pixie because she was a part of us, in our image, only with absolute innocence and trust.

A Very Special Friend.

Pixie Salmon

She liked us all an awful lot.
She gave 100% of herself.

When Cindy and Jim went somewhere and left Pixie behind, she would make it very clear that she wanted to go with them.  She would wait at a door, ten minutes, two hours, all day, and she would be there when they came back.  Her eyes would be looking out the window or door....every time, every time.

One time Jim and Cindy left Pixie at Estil and Dianne's house with Kathy and Molly watching them.  When they came home Pixie was on the stoop alone, just sitting there looking down the street.  Kathy and Molly were inside the door watching her.  They said that they thought Pixie wanted to go outside to the bathroom because she was sitting beside the door.  But when they let her out she just sat there on the stoop watching.

Pixie had a heart murmur,
and we were told that it was bad about two months ago.
She had trouble breathing, it was laborious, and eventually it wore her out.
She passed Friday morning at 7:00, laying in Jim and Cindy's arms, in our bed.
She will be sorely missed!

Pixie liked to be high and soft, where she could see what we were doing, some people said that she was a lap dog.  What do you think?
